Economic factors, too, are very favorable in terms of time saved and efficiency added.  And as drilling operations continue to go deeper and costs-per-hour continue to climb, Allenvators yield even bigger dividends With counterweight, automatic braking and centrifugal braking systems, the Allenvator is totally foolproof.  First, a fail-safe electric brake is tripped by any overload on the power unit (an explosion-proof  220, 440, or 600 three-phase elecrtrical system)... or by the parting of either of two drive chains.  Secondly, a spring-loaded mechanical brake automatically sets the carriage should the counterweight cables break in service.  Thirdly, the centrifugal brake engages a stop-lock to prevent the carriage from falling when the carriage exceeds a safe operating speed.  Safety factors are beyond the most stringent requiremens. With electric over hydraulic controls and operation the Hyd Rider is totally fool-proof.  First hydraulic braking and centrifugal brake engages a top block to prevent the carriage from falling when carriage exceeds a safe speed.  Safety factors are beyond the most stringent requirements.
